The Allen Family tree was started by my father, Padraig Allen. 
He was a great  man for visiting relatives, gathering old stories and going to 
funerals. Since his death in 2005, I have taken charge of his files and assumed the 
role of Family Historian.

He and a cousin of his, Helen Dennehy, put their heads together to compile 
most of the Allen & Dennehy history in these pages. My uncle David Allen from New 
Zealand, has, on his visits home over the years, been great to visit the older 
relatives, to keep those family links open. Also, my Uncle Noel, for his fondness to 
keep the memorabelia, that everyone else throws away.

The Healy and Murphy branches on my Mothers side, are also being up-dated. My 
cousin Danny Healy and I, are trying to gather what information we can. A lot 
of the older information coming from Sister Joan Murphy, and Joe Healy in 
Australia.

I have included the Canadian Ancesteral branches of my wife's family, a lot of the 
information coming from Muriel Williams(nee Platt), Herbert Cotton and Walter  
Williams.

I hope to keep researching and adding information over the coming years.
